Writing Process

So for my first post on this new blog, I thought I would  share alittle bit of my writing process. As most of my friends and Girlfriend know, Im very much an old soul/traditional type of guy, so I actually do all my writing in a small 5 x 3 moleskin notebook ( many moles died to make it )  , and I write pretty small, and fairly messy, Im generally the only one that can really make out what I have written. As you can see from the pictures I even do small little rough layouts, just to get a general start on the page layout, then I move into doing larger, and tighter thumbnails ( which you'll see later ), and usually things change from this stage, such as dialogue, and even the layout itself.

SO IT BEGINS!!

Hey everyone.

My name is Scott Hume, and in 2011 I 'll be launching a webcomic called BLACK GREASE, basically it's a down and dirty Rock & Roll Western, with a ton of weird monters, zombies, gangsters and dudes with larger then life pompadours, I don't want to say to much about the story right now, but I can guarantee that you'll dig it( if your into that sort of stuff )

As for this blog though, it's going to act as a news feed, anything dealing with the comic will be posted on this blog, as well as stuff like, character bios and behinds the scene stuff, so be sure to check back often.
